I've been thinking about doing this for a while now. A mega-thread about a proper smartphone comparison and discussion within a specific price-range with some highlighted models up for discussion, the pros and cons with some important/crucial reviews summarized. We already have the news section but it would be nice to keep that one just for the main news. This thread might end up becoming useless or redundant but we never know till we try so let's see how it goes. This is just a new kind of thread test btw. Let's say it's in "Beta" phase.
This thread is and should be restricted to pure discussion as much as possible. For "What smartphone should I buy?" questions go to Mobile Phone Buying Advice section.
Anyway, back to topic. For this thread I picked the 14,999rs-19,999rs range. Budget is strict unless there's a discount online and you should mention the source and offer validity period of that offer. Reasons for specifically going for this range are pretty simple, not too low and not too high. I call it "The Affordable High-End'ish range." And also lately I notice how the trend of the current smartphone launches like to be in this price-range especially in the Indian market.
For the 15-20k range I noticed two models which stood out and doing the most news right now (Aug 12). [I started writing this on Aug 12]
They are the Xiaomi A2 (Mi 6X) and the Honor Play. With some "honorable" mentions including the upcoming Nokia 6.1 Plus (X6), Nokia 6.1 (2018) and the Moto Z2 Play. I may have missed some models here and there.

So which of these do you think has the most pros? If your choice isn't here, mention them giving proper reasons. By proper reasons I mean the important reasons.
Eg. Because it has 100MP camera.
The above reason is not going to cut it. It should be more like:
Because it has a better camera and is good in low-light photography.
This is just a test. So have mercy on the human errors.
