My friend needs advice on buying a simple point-n-shoot camera in a budget upto 5 K.

Needs decent LCD size (>=2.7")

The friend upped his budget and purchased the Sony W360 from ebay @ Rs 9990/- minus a discount voucher of Rs. 500/-
 
I picked up a fuji AV100 for 4300 with 4 gb sdhc card, 2 rechargeable battery with charger and pouch. version 1.02 firmware. no problem with HD video recording. pictures output is very good for the price. Will not mind if the kids break it also.
