Processor: AMD Phenom II X2 550 - 5.2k or Athlon II X4 620 - 5.3k

Gigabyte 785GMT-UD2H - 5.9k

RAM: Transcend 2GB DDR3 1333MHz - 2.6k

GPU: Palit/Powercolor 4850GT 1GB DDRIII - 7.5k~

HDD: Seagate 500GB SATAII 7200.12 series- 2.4k

Cabinet: Zebronics Bijli ATX - 1.1k

SMPS: Gigabyte Superb 460W - 2.2k

Optical Drive: L.G. GH22NS30 SATA/Samsung SH-S22F SATA - 1.1k

Speakers: Altec Lansing 2.1 BXR1121 - 1.1k

Monitor: Benq G2220HD 22" - 8.3k~

Keyboard: Samsung Pleomax - .2k

Mouse: Logitech Optical - .4k

This rig will cost you ~37-38k. The righ costs 2-3k more than your budget but its worth it as you are get a DDRIII Mobo and RAM. Plus more the VRAM better it is for GTA4. So 1GB of VRAM would come in handy. If you go for a DDRII setup u can afford a HD4870 but i would suggest you to stick with the DDRIII+HD4850 combo.

I already have dvd drive so it comes to approx 36k.

Also can anybody recommend me any shops in Jaipur??

Most probably the prices that are mentioned will be higher in my city :(

And can i use win 7 64bit on this machine?

+1 for Karthik
well seems like the perfect combination for me. Will have to opt out of the GPU & speakers for now since it exceeds my current budget. The rest all fits. Also some alternative CPU coolers plz

Good luck finding AMD proccys in Jaipur. Ask any dealer, they would try to sell you Intel CPU:p

Adding to that, Gigabyte Superb PSU is not available last I checked. you might have to source this from online retailers.

anways, look into the market their may few dealers who might be able to get you this. Let me know shop name if you find ready stock AMD CPUs. I might go there as well:hap2:

+ Karthi007 suggestions.

always take the latest cpu+mobo+memory. Later you can add better graphics card+extra ram etc.

Why don't to get your hardware from NehruPlace,Delhi; you will get much better deal and hassle is worth considering

Actually i was to buy new PC within 30k max but i pushed hard and finally got 35k.

So i can not go above that :)

I'll take a look at the market this Sunday and I'm pretty sure that i wont get all the mentioned components.

@satyanjoy going to delhi to buy a pc = impossible :p

i just asked my dad for online purchase but he isnt very confident about it. Lets see...

sure he will;but trust me u will get the best deal;I almost deal with all the dealers in TE and all are good, never faced any problem so far;For any warranty n support keep your bill. The show stopper here will be assembling the parts-if you know how to do it -do it yourself or get it done by some local computerwala

Gigabyte PSU. you can get everything Locally.

I would suggest you replace Gigabyte PSU with Zebronics Pro series or Seasonic which is easily available locally as you don't want Online purchase. I went for Seasonic SII 380W which costs 3k.

For Proccy try contacting AMD INDIA and ask about dealers in Jaipur. they must be some

I think for 35k, u can replace the E7400 with something like a 5300 or E6xxx series and save ~6-7k on mobo+proccy.

And overclock it to get the same performance as the AMD.

Ya ya the 785G is good, but u are already buying a 5770 with this, then there is nothing better than this. The amount u save can be invested in a better PSU for future upgradations. Also u get a better cabby as well with this. Add to this 4GB RAM in comparision to 2GB which would definitely give u better minimum frame rates than a AMD setup with 2GB RAM.

So, i would reccomend:

Intel E5300/6300 - 3.4k (Overclock is a must to get similar performance as the AMD. If not overclocking, get the AMD eyes closed)

Gigabyte G31M - ES2L - 2.3k

Corsair 4GB kit - 5.4k

Seagate 7200.12 500GB - 2k

Sapphire ATI 5750 - 9k

Benq G2220HD - 8k

Corsair VX450 - 4k

CM Elite 310 Cabby - 2k

Logitech Desktop - .6k

This offers u better frame rates in gaming due to the better card and higher RAM. Gives u better upgrade options and a very good PSU. And the cabby won't give u cuts like the Bijli.:p
