I would like to purchase a Radeon 2900XT graphics card. Is it available locally? What is the price? Which brand? Where can I get it?

I need to purchase this immediately.

Please answer my questions. Thank you.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help but look out for Sapphire and Powercolor as two brands.

Powercolor disti is Mediatech (Mumbai)
Sapphire Aditya Infotech (Delhi)

^^try to get rashi a little lower. Pester them if you can. Keep phoning, every week or so. I guess 27~28K would be great for this card with a 3yr warranty.

2900XT for 32k :O :O :O

Its a ripoff... :@

better wait for 89XX series :P

Do you really think they'll be cheaper? :P Somehow I doubt that...In fact the 8800GTX deserves a 100 US advantage over the R600. I expect the G81 ;) to be priced at around 25~50 US$ more initially.

This is part of a complete workstation order that my uncle is supplying and the client specifically asked for the Radeon 2900XT.

<PLS DONT TEMME TO SAY NOW< I JUST CANT> :D

^^ That I have no idea, the client said they needed it. LOL. Its a video editing/capturing workstation, with 2 x Intel Xeon 5335 Processor and a card from BlueFish444.

I have sent mail to Rashi havent got any reply till now. Anyway will talk to them tomorrow and see.

Lol they want a 2900xt on a workstation? for what?

Im sure they need it for which the workstation is built for... I have observed that rather than buying those workstation-specific cards FireGL & Quadro, it makes more sense to buy high-end desktop cards as these are cheaper and nearly same performance!!

And I think the 2900XT is probably the best buy currently, coz its got the biggest bandwidth, best memory management/scheduler (ring technique) as well as gr8 scalable architecture with clever use of programmable shaders (arguable for Nvidia fanbois)!!

Sweet config....but i would suggest the quadro for video processing.
