As promised the first footage from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare has been released, showing off the present day entry in the Infinity War-Activision military shooter series. You can download the trailer at the newly launched Call of Duty 4 web site

The earlier screens looked bad, but the later ones made up for it, I suppose.

What's with the modern warfare nonsense though? COD's charm lied in the sheer scale of it and it's realistic setting. I can't really see a game based on recent wars having the same scope.
 
Infinity Ward is teasing us with no mercy. Shi*, the game looks absolutely awesome. Hey, huge CoD mark here, so yeah. :p I'm sooo waiting for this game.
