Camera from singapore..

hi all,

My friend is coming back from singapore and i am considering to get a camera from there.

Hw are the prices of camera's in singapore.

Two camera's are under consideration

Panasonic FZ28 and Canon SX10 IS .

Are camera's cheaper there and also what about service here in india if anything goes wrong.

In many threads people are recommending FZ28 over SX10 IS ... Is panasonic after sales service better then Canon ?
 
prices arent any much cheaper than india. if you're a tourist, you can get some special stamp by the dealer which says the warranty is valid even in india even if you buy in singapore.

wait till june 2-3rd week, tehre is a PC fair started. cam prices will get cheaper then.
 
yeah.. wait for a few weeks.. there is this great singapore sale gng on.. things are gng to be cheap.. especially in the last 2 weeks.. the sale ends on 26th july i think!
 
^^Hmm interesting. Im heading to singapore on 6th July so hope i get some good deals then :D

@sunny, sure you can get it stamped for indian warranty?
 
yep can be done :P canon has put huuuuge posters in front of mustafa saying whatever canon cameras u buy will have indian warranty as well :P
