Can you suggest a good handicam for taking still and video photography under Rs. 18,000 ..

There are good models of sony, canon and panasonic.

Should I go for a digicam. please advice

U shuld rather go for a cam which shoots HD videos, as most of the digicams r bad cams (low MP. less effects etc).

Take a lot at the FZ35 it does shoot good HD videos as well and is a great camera

buy sony tx1 15k .... 10.2MP stillcam , shoots 720P video !

if u can extend the budget buy tx7 22k .... 10.2MP , shoots full 1080P video !

Go for FZ35 Dude it gives you everything!!!

by the way I got Casio exilim 12.1mp camera with HD video recording...
