Camera Problem Help Needed urgent...........

Camera- Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T70

Problem 1:- I accidentally broke the slider which is used to open the battery latch. How much charge can i expect at the service center.

Problem 2 :- The drivers are not installing for Plug and play and the Download tool that Sony is giving is not working........

2. which OS you are using ? did you get drivers CD with the camera ..

Actually the camera is a friend of mine who is not available currently... I am using windows 7.....

600 is the base charge or will i get the repair done??

Its the base charge, parts will cost more, IMO.

Anyways, why does he not use some tape to stick it or something? I had done that for my quite old Kodak.

First visit and get a quote from Sony service centres but usually they charge a bomb for even tiny repairs and it will be better to get it done from local camera repair shops.
