Camera suggestions needed

A friend needs to buy a new camera :)

Budget: Less than $125

Will be buying from the states.

Need all the regular stuff for a nooby cam like optical IS, decentish zoom etc. Don't care much about manual features.

Am I stuck with the regular Panny LZ8 (not that its bad), there's also the newly launched LZ10.. but thats coming to be a wee bit over budget.. :ashamed:
