Camera within 5-6k

Hi, I'm looking for a Digital Camera, simply P&S ones, within 5-6k, can extend upto 7k, if I get some good VFM deal.

Well before someone points me to http://www.techenclave.com/general-portables/all-newbie-starter-entry-level-dslr-151815.html I'd like to inform, I read that thread, but I hardly find someone discussed camera within my price range. It's about SLR ones, I don't need professional ones, and I don't have that much budget to buy one of them.

Well...someone said me Sony is the choice for low end home use cameras, So I'm presently looking at eBay India: Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W530 Digital Camera + Warranty (item 260727343950 end time 02-Feb-2011 08:00:00 IST)

Please refine my search, or you are always free to suggest me something else from Nikon, Cannon etc.

Will buy on 1st week of Feb.
 
Well, thanks, but if you don't mind it's only 4.5k then(I do have 5% OFF Coupon), so I've another 2.5k left(as I said I can stretch my budget upto 7k), So would I get a better deal for 7k??

I mean MRP of 8k range cameras can be easily available for 6.5 to 7k street prices.

What do you say??
 
Any update?? I don't want to go for A495, first it needs AA batteries, I want some solution like batteries in Mobiles(chargeable ones), another is it's just 10MP.

@DarkAngel It's not like that I'll buy from ebay, so you can suggest me some good cam's, I can also buy the same from retail stores.

The reason I was looking at ebay for W530 because, after visiting some Sony and some Retail stores it seemed that Sony products are not available less then the MRP, the lowest price I got is Rs. 200/- less from MRP. So that ebay deal seemed amazing for me. I wish Sony doesn't provides only 6months warranty on their products if I buy from retail store?? Is it something specific to that ebay dealer??

Well, currently I'm looking at W530, W320 and 3100IS. Still like W530 the most, as it includes most of the feature. Costs 8800/- on retail and sony stores.

I'm mainly looking at image stabilization(if my hand shakes), panorama, and I don't know the term what should I say these, but let me define you guys...if I shoot a fan the blades should not get blurred, it should come in fixed position. as if it's turned off. same theory can be applied to dancing peoples, or clicking from roller coasters etc, I mean I want to catch precious shots with stable expressions on face. That thing should not be get blurred.

Please help. I'm willing to pay 8800 for W530 :)
