Monitors Can a 21.5"monitor show full HD video

I am thinging to buy Dell 2240L. I want to see full HD movies on it along with using it as a TV through my HD set top box.

But Can a 21.5"monitor show full HD video?
 
Yes, the monitor's resolution is 1920 x 1080 pixels.

Also, a monitor doesn't decide whether it'll be able to let you watch FullHD content. That's the computer's/video player's job. A monitor only displays it, and if it supports FullHD resolution, then it will let you watch the FullHD content in its full glory.
 
Indiatimes is selling it for Rs.7970 (aprox). How is this site for buying the monitor?

I am having PC with AMD Quad 635 & Gigabyte 785G mobo with 4GB ram and also a 8400 GT graphic card. The above is Overclocked to 3.4 ghz on air.

Please also tell which Graphics should I use, the onboard one or the 8400GT, which is more powerfull?

It is impossible to get that monitor below 9k and that is the lowest price AFAIK. now the same site lists the price as 9.3k.

And i have read many reviews that indiatimes is not a reliable website. Do not get from them. Choose familiar sites like ebay, flipkart, etc.

If your graphics card supports 1920 x 1080 resolution then you can buy this monitor. A device which supports this resolution is called a Full HD device.

The 2240l monitor has a plethora of good reviews and though the price is expensive, its worth the buck.

Make sure if your graphics card supports this resolution and if not then its not worth buying it.

Actually Indiatimes is giving 15% off on this price of 9363/- so the price comes to Rs7959/- for this monitor.....but that is on online payment and no COD.

Its a fantastic monitor, no doubt. Go for it, pretty sure indiatimes is reliable enough. At that price you can't go wrong with an IPS 1080p LED Screen.
