Graphic Cards can CRT monitor play HD content?

hey guys I have a 17'' CRT samsumg monitor with AMD 8650 tricore proccy, 2gb of DDR2 RAM and a inbuilt ATI 3300 HD graphics card.

The problem is when I try to play some HD content on it the video lags and skips frames, Is it happening because I am using a non HD monitor? or something else. I think HD3300 is capable of playing HD stuff.

let me know what do you guys think is the problem

I dont think its because of monitor, check you video drivers if they are updated or not.

I suspect that the software you are using to play HD movies isn't using GPU acceleration. Try using VLC or MPC Homecinema.

reset the setting of the player to default that you are you are using. if problem still continues then update your video drivers and use vlc.

And i would advice you to remove any old Codec pack from your system and install new K-Lite Mega Codec Pack
