iOS Can feel static while my iPad is charging?

Hey people, I have noticed it a couple of times now that if touch the sides of my iPad while the charger is plugged in; I can feel a static sometimes. Is it normal to happen? I use an extension board to plug the power adapter and it's the original one which I got from Apple.

Side note: the extension board I use has a two pin switch.

Should I be worried about it, or just let it slip?

Dont let it slip...can cost you your beloved ipad...see if you get static when charger is directly connected to wall outlet....if still you get static then time to change the charger...if not then change the extension board

Either you have a slightly more sensitive skin, or the adapter is leaking more AC than what is permitted/borderline. Nothing to be alarmed about, but verify with a different adapter from other major brands.
