Can I use an AM3+ stock cooler on AM4

I'm getting a AMD 5500GT AM4 -65 watt processor and a Gigabyte B450 DS3H M/b.
I have the stock heat sink of my 125 watt AMD 8350 processor. It has a copper core, and heat pipes, and looks much more powerful that the wraith stealth that comes with the 5500GT.
I was thinking of using that instead. Any thoughts?

A few guys have done it, but they've only shown the installation videos, not the actual results.

I've got 2 AM3+ coolers that should be able to dissipate , the stock AMD one and a Cooler Master Hyper Tx3 (not EVO). Both of them use clips.
I'll see what temps and noise levels are with the Wraith Stealth, and if they're high, I'll try swapping them with the AM3 coolers.
