Audio Can I use very old (vintage) wooden box speaker to connect to TV

Hi

I have two wooden box speakers lying unused for long, I think they are made during 90s or before that.

My new Sony LED tv sound is low and so i had connected an external speaker (philips one in the 3rd pic) but i find the vocals are low but music is very high.

So my intention is

1. Can i connect the two wooden box speakers as left and right channel and Philips (black small) speakers as center channel one. Is it possible ? If yes, what additional components are needed to do this setup.

2. If it not possible can i used the wooden box one instead of Philips for better vocals. My preference for vocals/dialogue than sound as my mother finds hard to hear when playing movies on tv.
How to connect the wooden box speaker to tv. I don't see any electrical wire so how does it power to play. ( Sorry noob question as i'm not much into speakers but kind of DIY guy to learn and install it)

My intention is not to spend the lesser the better and make use of with existing equipment.

3. If none of the above works can i convert them to use as desktop speakers?

Thanks and welcome your suggestion.

If your TV supports bluetooth then maybe you can get these speakers modded with a bluetooth controller/receiver and connect them.
Yes, connecting a bluetooth transmitter/receiver with old speakers/HTs is a thing.
