Monitors Can one replace lcd/led monitor with lcd/led tv

Have tv come that long that one can use it instead of a lcd/led monitor?

No, in the ideal sense. Most LCD tvs/LED TVs will have the brightness and contrast cranked up a bit too high for close viewing.

You are better off buying a Full HD monitor and a TV tuner card, if you intend to watch TV on ur PC. If u r worried abt electricity bills, den get an external TV tuner box, so won't need to switch on the PC if u intent to just watch TV.

I am using a LED TV with my PC, works better than my previous Samsung 23" LCD monitor.

Get the LG PC/TV combo. It even has Picture and Picture feature where in u can hav the TV on one side and the PC screen on the other half. Work and entertain together !
