I have a GeForce FX 5500 PCI card, and i am currently using FW 84,21 drivers. I was trying to use upgrade to Fw 84.66 drivers, which r believed to give better performance. For this, i tried to uninstall my v 84.21 drivers, and all was going on fine till i rebooted. The computer sort-of hangs when i reboot WinXp Pro+Sp2
It hangs in all modes except the SAFE MODE. Moreover, when i reboot in safe mode and install the new drivers and reboot it again, the computer still hangs. But when i switch to onboard vid, all goes fine.
Any1 has got an idea abt whats wrong wid the drivers? :huh:
PS:I tried DC Pro but in vain, also, i had recently flashed my video BIOS on the same 84.21 drivers, is that a problem?
