Hi All,
Posting after a long long time
but whenever I need solid advice, I turn to TE. So, here is the story. I want to setup a basic audio system in my car (good old alto lxi), went to nearby local shop and got following quotes:
1. Audio Unit - Pioneer MVH-X169UI - Rs. 3800
2. Front Speaker - Pioneer TS-G 414 - Rs. 900
3. Rear Speaker - Pioneer TS-A6965S - Rs. 3000
4. Box for rear speaker (no tray) - Rs. 600
5. Radio Antenna - Rs. 250
6. Wires - Rs. 150
7. Installation - Included in above price
All this for Rs. 8.7K. Just so you know, I have handpicked the audio unit because of two major features:
1. Detachable Front
2. USB only (no CD)
I have a few doubts listed below:
1. Is it reasonably priced? If not, what should be ideal price for this setup?
2. Are front and rear speakers good?
3. Are these speaker model# outdated or still being manufactured by Pioneer?
Pls let me know if you need any more info...again this is super urgent. TIA
