Guys,

I'm getting a very good deal on Casio ProTrek PRG-110T sports/trekking watch which is priced at Rs. 17995/- at Casio's India website. I'm planning to buy it from abroad and I'll be getting it around 12k-13k. This particular model has a titanium chain and not a strap.

I'll be visiting Muscat (Oman) soon and most of the watches there are priced at huge discounts compared to India. When I researched a bit, came to know that this is because of the high tax in India, which is zero in Oman. A few of my relatives who live there have bought a lot of Titan watches all these years and have been very happy with their purchases.

The dealer that I'll be buying it from said, if I buy more than one, he might be able to get me another discount on it. So, here I am looking for atleast one more person who is looking for/wanting to buy this watch. Please let me know asap.

Its casio one on one offer, its available with all the casio dealers.

But you can not chose the second watch :P, its specified watch for the particular price range.

Check the casio ebay store for details, this guy has provided a phone number in the page, call him and ask about the particular model you are looking for and get the free watch too :D

LOL, I'm sure the free watch would be a crap one, one of those grandpa ones...
I guess I'll call the guy and check the price he offers on the PRG-110T, though I doubt if he can offer the price I'm getting.

Spoke to the guy, he said he does not have the particular model, but the lower model, PRG-110 (strap instead of titanium chain) which he's priced at Rs. 16995/-

I'm yet to check with my dealer, how much he's priced the PRG-110 (non-T) version at. Should not be more than 10k - 11k.

Also, the free watch that Casio's offering is a ladies watch (worth Rs. 1395)

amit hey u seem to hav a good deal maan go ahead with it ask u r omani dealer if u could get better rates for bulk buys and then we could try for a go.
 
Guys, I'll be leaving for Oman on the 21st of this month, will check up the latest price once there and will post from there.

When are you coming back? I might get 5. One for myself and 4 extra to gift some ppl. But thing is you're pretty new here and no iTrust ratings. Any older member know you personally or otherwise?

I realise you're the one doing me a favour but the sum's quite high...:S

I agree, actually the reason for me to make the original post was to find atleast one person who'd wanna buy this watch with me, so that the dealer reduces the price. It was never intended to to be an actual group order. If you seriously need to buy 5 of them, I'll try to get it for ya.

I'd also like to make this a pleasant transaction for both of us. Any suggestions ?
