Hey folks ,
so the previous laptop that i bought, the studio 1537, got some issues popping up and no more acting friendly with me and hence after a full refund, i went for the all new studio 1555. got it delivered at my doorstep today ..
The specs:
p8600 processor
320 GB 7200 rpm
3 GB @ 800 Mhz
ATI mobility radeon 4570 512 MB DDR3 graphics
Backlit keyboard
9 cell battery
15.6 inches , 720p half HD WLED backlit screen

The initial take:
The laptop looks to me a perfect blend of price, performance and aesthetics. though with minor glitches, or say cost-cutting ,some basic features such as the 54 mm Express card slot , the touch sensitive media keys and the Wireless and HDD activity LED's has made it to the trash can and not included in this model.
The 3dmark06 scores are well about 4100 and normal games that i tested ran smooth on this one.
