Cheap mobile for less than 2K ?

Ok the title says it all....i need one tomorrow just for incoming and outgoing.... dont care about FM/camera/torch etc.The only thing that i care is it should be durable with good clarity and good battery life.Also sometimes my dad will use it so if its easy to type then its another plus :p.

I just went to a local shop he showed me 2 mobiles for my needs :

1) E1081 for Rs 960

2)Samsung Hero E2230 for Rs 1890

The E1081 is cheap i like it for that but typing was kinda hard but on the E2230 it was easy to type and all but it comes with junk i dont really need like a FM/camera etc it also costs more but the shop wala says it has good battery :p

So which one should i buy tomorrow? or are there any other better options ? thanks :)

Bought the E1175 here locally for Rs 1100 .....a little expensive than letsbuy but i needed it urgently :).

How many hrs should i charge the battery for the first time ? the shop guy said to charge it for 8 hrs is that correct?
