Hello Guys !
I was looking for a decent power supply on the web to power up 2 X GTX 295 cards in SLi Mode ...then I came across this :

1. FSP BoosterX 3 FSP300-1E01 - video card power supply - 300 Watt - Compare prices, reviews, user opinions - Shopper.com

This thing is capable of running 2 X GTX295 cards in SLI & is dedicated to the GFX Cards only.

It has also been certified by Nvidia :

2. Build an SLI PC - Certified SLI-Ready Power Supplies

Product Specs & Reviews :

3. WATT-POWER > BOOSTER X3 - Gain More Power, Win More Games FSP300-1E01

4. Customer Reviews Of FSP Group BoosterX 3 FSP300-1E01 300W Independent/Supplementary SLI Certified CrossFire Ready Modular Active PFC Supplementary Power Supply - Retail

So what u guys think ;)

Read carefully bro :-
**This is a drive bay power supply that provides additional power for graphics use only. It powers two 6-pin PCI-Express graphics card connectors. This supply is certified for SLI PCs when paired with another standard SLI-Ready power supply from the "All other SLI PC configurations" list above.

this line is written on SLI Zone - Gaming PC, Gaming Computer, Build a PC

Features Listed on Newegg if u skipped on that one :

300W (Peak 400W) Supplementary Graphic Power Supply Unit dedicated to support high-end multi-GPU Graphic interface card power requirements.

Easy Installation to an available 5.25" drive bay, the BoosterX 3 provides customized power-boost configuration upgrade (in addition to the standard ATX) to support and stabilize your ultra-high performance multi-GPU graphic cards power requirements such as single, dual or quad SLI platforms.

It features true 300W output, high-efficiency / low power consumption Active-PFC, dual PCI-Express 6-Pin outputs (150Wx2), dual internal 40mm front-intake cooling fans, full-range input, gloss-black front panel with clear blue LED.

Each Booster_X3 includes a complete installation kit: AC cord, AC-cord mounting slot, high-gauge PCI-Express type (6-Pin) dual output cable and instructions, in full retail package.

As stated on SLI Zone u obviously need a separate power supply to power ur rig ...

Besides ur GFX cards will draw the power solely from the Bay + 45-50 Watts from the PCI Express x16 slot.

Any corrections guys ..?

Ya i read on newegg too and also read the views of people their. Moreover we need a sli-certified psu. but i think vx450 is not sli certified. so what in that case.

Dude ..if ur going to run 2 X GTX295s then obviously u need a PSU that can handle a single card in d first place.

Then in order to power the 2nd card FSP Booster might help.

See corsair vx550 can easily handle one gtx 295 and costs Rs. 5.7k and this device will cost around 5k due to shipping and custom charges, so in that case I'll suggest to buy corsair TX850 which will cost around 8.7k and in that case i saved money too and it'll be best suited.
