Amid a fresh round of border mechanism talks between Indian and Chinese diplomats on Tuesday, some 21 PLA troops crossed the Line of Actual Control (LAC) into India in Barahoti Plains area of Uttarakhand, top government sources said.
The incursion has led to serious concerns within the government even though Chinese soldiers are not showing any aggressive intent.
“Normally, incursions are confined to Eastern Ladakh (Western) and Arunachal Pradesh (Eastern) with stray transgressions being noticed in Barahoti Plains (Middle sector) around August 15 each year. Yesterday’s intrusion was unusual in that context,” said a senior official.

Again and again in the last 1 year, we have heard news of Chinese troops crossing LAC and entering our side. Really wonder what are they up to?

It nothing, just like a big guy bullies the smaller kids in school etc since the little kid is not going to ever retaliate so the bullying continues always.

Their economy is not performing as good as earlier. Need some patriotic games to keep flocks together. Meanwhile are there any big tenders coming up with Indian Govt. ? That should keep them off the hooks for sometime.

They are protesting the bases we set up close to the border. Its a threat to them.

By pushing the issue they are hoping for some sort of resolution, there is give & take here for both sides.

How about a conspiracy theory:

They are making trouble at the LAC in Leh so that the bulk of the attention is there, while they sneak up on arunachal, sikkim and bhutan.

^^ coming to India thru Sikkim is rather tough for them. It has been the most peaceful border of India for quite sometime.

It is a tactical move to gain advantage in diplomatic relations. By holding the upper hand, they want to stay on top on India. However, our Army too has set up bases too close to their border for them to just neglect and stay quiet.

Since their economy is down they want to come in India and take over all the road side chinese stalls :D

I got confirm news from a local businessmen that this year(and even last year) Ganesh idols were imported from china. My only expression was

That is where you totally misunderstood and underestimated Chinese imports and conflicts with them.

A few week /months after conflict, our ministers will turn diplomatic and there will be meetings. Then a huge tender of some telecom project /similar will come up. The project will go to chinese Cos. China will declare diplomatic meetings where very successful and better than expected. And this is how nations should solve bilateral issues. Indian ministers will say all the issues are resolved amicably and China is our long term friend, neighbor, etc...

And sheeples will lumber in our mangoman life as usual.

Seems like they are trying to provoke Indian forces to start firing/shelling. Following which they can start a proper march towards their desired territories and claim that they only replied to the military aggression of India.

chinese have been always cunning and deceptive in nature. Some kinda weird wiring they are born with by default i am guessing, right from the days of forbidden city.

That's blatant generalisation and reeks of racism. Don't confuse the acts of government and the military with the entire populace, especially of a country which doesn't even have democracy.

^ Sorry but that is how they generally have been.
The general citizens of china behave blindly as per their govt wishes to, mobilizing them as and when required. The extremely monitored news channels and doctored news their official mouthpiece of a newspaper feeds within mainland china, i dont really see any of the chinese being liberal or behaving normally.

You can take cognizance of the situation between china and hong kong for reference.

So is this the reason why Indian govt doesnt bans companies like Huawei and keeps awarding them contracts ?

And is US really serious in claiming that Huawei spies for the chinese govt?

lol, very tongue in cheek. An apt dig at the useless hype.

Don't forget new leadership in China needs to appear to solve problems. For all we know this is for internal consumption (in China).[DOUBLEPOST=1374792440][/DOUBLEPOST]

None of the indian companies that rebrand chinese products care about this.

Want to address trade deficit ? then india needs to make more things the world wants to buy. Until such time the world will try its best to sell us their products.
