and hey no blue screen comin man.. just restart without any warning
.. should i fix anythin from the abv given list????????

hey achu... try these... when ur system restarts go to the even viewer to see whether there are any errors that occured just before the system restarted.. check system, security and application log for any serious error... if there isnt any error we can confirm that windows did not crash... if you havent installed the latest patches of XP install it from sites like windizupdate.com.

the computer usually starts when the CPU temp reaches the critical limit... since you tell that the sys restarts only when u are online check if there are any applications that occupy 100% of CPU when u are online.. as that cud raise the CPU temp a lot.. and lost of all check ur RAM for errors... u can use memtest for it... i think that you are doubleseven's friend.. ask him for memtest cd he can give it...

windows update will ensure that the system is not restarted by any RPC call failing or something like that... the CPU temp and RAM test should ensure that there is no issue with the hardware...

give details after you try these...
