yes you're right but again buying mentality is saying go for the latest one because the difference is only 6k for me due to GST claim. So should i consider spending 6k?

14 will have better resale value.
Also the 14 has better cameras than the 13.
You can easily repair back glass on 14 at fraction of cost of 13.

So if the 6k diff is able to justify these 3 points get the 14 else both are the almost the same functionality wise.

also, i saw a reel saying apple is going to drop price for iPhone 14 near around 26jan. is it true? because i don't trust on reels

The 14 and 14 plus sales are low. Already discounted 5k in some websites. Might go further down.
This was bound to happen when you repackage the same iphone 13 with an increased price and keep both the device on sale.

Not really. Both phones will get updates for another 3-4 years for sure. There is nothing in 14 that can justify 6k rupees. Instead, that 6k can be used for accessories. That 6k is the difference between the price of Airpods 3 and Airpods Pro 2. And the difference here is substantial.

In short, I would rather buy 13+airpods pro 2 over 14+airpods 3. Or I would rather buy 13+accessories like magsafe charger, case etc over 14.

Ik BBD sale my friend bought iphone 11 for her mother. And i saw it was open box delivery during checkout. But delivery guy refused to do it. Said return it or take it. No open box delivery. But still i manged to open in from of him. If any issues arises in future.

I think slightly different. 6k is a lot of difference for nothing. Because apple auodates based on chip. So 13 will get updated for as long as 14 due to the same chip. You could get a battery change for 6k. Will keep the phone fresh for 4 years if you get it changed after 2 years.

One other way to see it is if you plan on keeping this for 3-4 years and you drop your phone a lot, better to get the 14 because the replacement cost of 13 back glass requires entire body to be replaced and cost will be more then tha value of a used 13.

But since 14 has a replaceable back glass which will cost much less to replace is where you adjust that 6k difference. Think of it as insurance

investibg in iphone 14 will be a good decision speacially during offer or sale..
you get 1 year more update, a little better camera and as @RedSnowman17 told u will be charged too less for replacing back glass in case of replacement.
and yes you will also get better resale value too..
so better to invest in iphone 14 if buying a new phone between 13 and 14
