Monitors Connecting new Lcd monitor ....Help needed

:ashamed:I connected my newly purchased samsung B2230 to my graphics card......but the monitor is not detected and I when I connected it to the on board display everything works fine.So i think the xfx 8600 gt is not working because I have installed/reinstalled the drivers which came in the xfx cd.What should I do next...the purchase was made this evening.

Installed another graphics card Nvidia 7300gt.......again this one also not working!!!

Okay an update just googled and found many with this problematic mobo...even tried selecting pci e as the primary display but that wont work.Sorted this out last day removed the ram and jumpers on the motherboard for 5 minutes
