PC Peripherals Connecting POS receipt printer to the UPS Ok?

Hello all,

I got a SUA1000uxi with two 65ah batteries today for our POS(point of the sale - the type you see in service retail businesses) computer and monitor. Both of them consume about 200W of power and I was told my requirement of 4 hrs plus battery backup should be easily taken care of. Now question is can I connect my POS printer to the UPS? UPS is very clear about not connecting laser printers.

Attached are specs of the POS printer.

Also the plug for the POS printer is different and will not the go into the UPS. What's the best way to resolve this?

Any inputs would be greatly appreciated.

^ nice trick. you could go a step further and just connect the sliced end of the cn13/14 wire to a 3/4 outlet spike guard after removing the original wire from it. Just a bit of soldering needed there i suppose.
