convert DivX to h.264 programs

i have basically have some dvdrips which are mostly of 700 mb.
i want to put them in my ipod video but ipod doesnt take divx formats.

is there any utility available to convert DivX to h.264 videos.
one of my friends was suggesting me to use SUPER encoder.
is there anyother ulility available which u people use to convert divx dvdrips into
h264 videos which u then use on ur ipods.

Use CyberLink PowerEncoder or ASEE DVD Video to H.264 Converter or Kingdia Video to AVI/WMV/MPG/MOV/DVD/FLV Converter.

Super is very good.

Even the built-in iTunes converter is great!

^^ Super installs its own version of AC3Filter so if you have the latest version be prepared to see some old version. also Coreavc gets changed (to 0.0.0.4 version) . Also its not efficient.

so better use seperate utility

it can convert to x264.

not sure if x264 will work on ipod.

its simple to use and 100% works...

megui is just a CLI which means it will work with codecs and avisynth scripts. no iPod doesn't play x264 only h264 encoded videos

CLI, no way. it has a easy to use GUI.

I just checked, and it does hav a IPod profile.
