This psu for one of my pcs does not turn on with the paper clip test, is it worth it to get it repaired or get a new psu, its for a basic pc used just for browsing around 30mins in a day . Its not in warrantee .
Repaired part may be of lower quality than the original. I've never seen repair people keep good quality parts with them. They usually keep the lowest possible stuff that will work for a few months. Good for repeat business.
If your PC is new then you can just get a good PSU. If it's old and you can manage the risk, get a cheap PSU.
