i just checked the price of H50 and its quoted at 4.5k in bangalore...

planning to buy it, but not sure whether the price is reasonable to buy and also not sure about the performance...
read a lotta review about it and the results were gud...

but jus wondering what the owners have to say....

Well...if u want to Overclock ur processor to 4GHz 24x7 with say 30C ambient, it's a good option, it's JUST matched by the best AIR coolers, but water does have it's advantages I guess.

i hate congestion with the case and i hate to deal with the air coolers and their installation...

and yea, though am a kinda newbie in overclock, like to take it to the extreme step by step and prefer a better cooling...

so u, basically say its worth buying ?

Go for tuniq extream tower 120 costs less than that silent & you can overclock like hell... Its huge & the best air cooler for the price...

Its air cooler , water coolers are better than air coolers no doubts in that but it all depends which cpu you use & even the mobo in total to get the best OC
Say you hav mind range mobo which can oc your processor max to 3.4ghz where as your cpu is capable of oc to 4ghz, in such cases your water cooler will just look cool & wont work to full potential... Unless you have a good OC mobo dont buy water coolers air cooling will just do great...

hmmm

u can find my mobo frm my sig...

with stock i dragged 750 to 3.7ghz@1.3 and @ tht point evn the idle temp was ~55-60 with stock... and @100% temp raised to 80+ within 2-3mins...

as per my understanding, i guess giga-byte ud2m can handle 750 at or close to 3.9ghz...

also, am opting for h50 for easy handling as i ll be on move lil frequent...

i do not find it vfm when air coolers in range of 3k can perform similar or better.

so for me it is not at all worth that much...same is the case with coolermaster V8.
