Can someone confirm on the warranty of the product?

I am getting mixed info, some says its 7 years while some say 5 years.

On corsair website it says - RM Series PSUs have a 5 year warranty.

You are right. Corsair website mentions 5 years so it will be five years only. I believe some newer Corsair products have 7 and even 10 year warranty, which is probably where the confusion is coming from.

EDIT: Correction: Corsair had launched a few PSU ranges with 7 year warranties. Later they automatically extended these 7 year warranties to 10 year warranties with no user intervention required. But this is not applicable to the 5 year warranty PSUs. So if your PSU originally shipped with a 5 year warranty, it still only has 5 years of warranty. But if it shipped with 7 years, that has been extended to 10 years.

For the RMi/RMx series, only PSUs launched in 2015 (and later?) shipped with 7 year warranties but not before that. So since yours is a December, 2013 model, it only has 5 year warranty i.e. until December next year.
