which cpu cooler will fit in a nzxt gamma case and which is better?

hyper 212+
sunbeam core contact ffreezer 120mm
sunbeam tuniq tower extreme 120

budget-2.5k

any other please recommend

Look Core-contact design of Sunbeam and Cooler Master Hyper 212+ is the same but the difference is the fan size and thus heatsink size of the cooler the Katana 3 is 92mm inclined plane Core contact design + due to incline it cannot mount a secondary fan for a push-pull configuration like all the coolers you mentioned, I still say Cooler Master Hyper 212+ is best in list, go through all the reviews I gave, hope this helps :)

Oh BTW Cooler Master Hyper 212= and th Sunbeam Corecontact coolers you mentioned are 120mm systems

as per reviews katana cools much less than the hyper 212. so best performance is for 212+.. thats the prob. as per frostytech the core contact performs better than hyper 212. thats why this dilemma

Check out both the reviews I gave, their is a 10 degree difference in the results + this is the older Hyper 212 the newer 212+ gives the option to mount a second fan for Push-pull configured cooling

and the heatsink size of Hyper 212+ is bigger 120mm and the Katana 3 is 92mm
 
Dude get ur own facts straight , read the reviews properly,just dont see the temperatures,see the test systems too,the review for the cooler master hyper 212 ,a dual core test system which does not produce much heat like an i7,the syche katana wins hands down.
 
v8 is crap. literally.. in all reviews its worse than the hyper 212+. as a matter of fact hyper 212+ is top of the line from CM.

its as alpha put it a maruti engine in a ferrari!!!:)
 
The problem with the V8 is the fact it is a huge heatsink approx. 1.5x in mass too Hyper 212+ but it is cooled by a Silent low RPM 92mm piece of @#$%@#$(*( fan for cooler :)
