Hi guys, I want to upgrade my current rig here is the config
CPU - Core 2 Quad - 6600 (Stock)
GPU - 8600 GS 512mb
RAM - Corsair Dominator 2x2GB (Stock)
PSU - Corsair 450W
I built this rig in 2008 and although it runs most of the stuff and handles my work, I've started to notice the slowdowns. Here is a list of soft-wares I use everyday
- 3DS MAX 2013
- Photoshop CS6
- Unity 3D 4.3.f2
- Unreal Development Kit
- Visual Studio 2010
- Cry Engine
- Vicious Engine
- Infernal Engine
Along with this I want to play games at full setting at 1920x1080 resolution. I was looking out for a FX series 8 core or a A10-6800K. Incase you guys are wondering why do I use these game engines extensively, I work as a technical artist for R&D division at Reliance entertainment.
