Customs Query:What is a bank attested invoice?

Recently I ordered a mini Projector worth Rs 4500 online from China 1.5 months ago.Yesterday I received letter from Asst Commissioner of customs stating that I will have to present documents
1)Original bank attested invoice/no charge invoice
2)Importer's code number
3)Any other relevant document

I don't know what ate these things,nor I know where do i get it or where to contact/

Please help.
 
These are documents required when you are an importer of goods. you need importer exporter license and bank attestation on invoice.
I am not sure why you as a general user are being asked for this. have you ordered a lot of things online in the past ?
Any duty levied on the item ?

Go to the customs office and tell them you purchased this online as a general user and not a importer. they will ask you to pay duty on the item. maybe bribe will be asked for.
