i got it locally wid indian warranty.. cant expect parents to run abt sending it to kmd nd onto us nd all that.

more peace of mind for them this way. canon service setup in india is pretty decent.. the 2 times my pals have had to get their cams serviced, they had a turn arnd time of 3 working days.. including once when the ccd was replaced...
