Da Vinci Code -- Has Anyone Seen the Trailor

Guys I am a Great Fan of The Da Vinci Code and the movie is gonna be out the next May :cool2: :cool2:

The trailor is here .How may have seen it .I just saw it ..It wasnt opening for the past 20 mins or so (A bit large I gess)......But Simply Amazing when gotta see the whole trailor :hap2: :hap2:

How Many have seen both of 'em ;) The second Ive heard it was shown during LOTR :Revenge on the Sith in America on over 7000 prints or so

has anyone seen the da vinci code program trailer on NGC(national goegraphic channel)
if so can anyone tell what background music is that. I just love that score they play in the background.
 
although the book is great and all

but i dont think it would be that good a movie a book can never be made into a book.
welli hope you guys know that the story bout jesus in the book is false and made up

Dont want to start a religious debate out here...but I dont completely dismiss the claims made in the book. Of course he added lots of masala to dramatise his novel.
But have you read Holy Blood, Holy Grail. ?

As for the trailer, it is just a teaser...
 
i havent and i dont want too. what i figure out from the book, is that all claims are from the paper DOSSIERS SECRETS and it could be easily be misguidedly written by some made up person.
 
But the book makes sense.... That Jesus was a normal mortal human being with exceptional ideas abt freedom and the way of life and all that.

I find it hard to believe that he was the son of god or anything. I personally believe that he was an exceptional leader with brilliant idea and philosophies.

And afterall, the first actual BIBLE was compiled 400 yrs after the death of Jesus. So, isn't it possible that the rulers at that time added masala to the story of Jesus???

See it this way, if Gandhi had lived 100s of years ao, he would probab;y have been made into a GOd or son of god. But in this age, everything is meticulously documented.

His ideas were so revolutionary.

Same goes for Jesus.

Well dont the last lines by you explain why i m trying to keep this matter nuetral(we better control or we'll get banned hehe).

Although you are right about the book being written 400 years after jesus we cant take the fact that mary magnadale was actually who she is supposed to be in da vinci's code. these are just mysteries that wont be solved and we have to live with that. (with all due respect) you dont even know that Jesus existed maybe the guy framed it up 400 years after his death to maintain peace in his territory. these are mysteries and you dont have answers for them. j
 
yes.... very true.... we have no idea if these people even existed. I have had many an argument with my friends abt whether Jesus, Ram, Krishna, ever existed or whether the epics in Hindu mythology ever took place.

What we have to remember is the values and ideas and philosophies preached by them. That is more important than the fact whether the person existed or not.
 
correct and every religion has to be respected upon.

it gives us the beauty of living lives and wonderful rituals that define our human culture.
 
Guys...Dan Brown's work is that of Fiction, he has taken some facts(very less btw) and lots of masala and fiction and told it very convincingly to sell his book thats it.
If you read Angels and Demons by the same author it is strongly Pro Church/Vatican while this one is alsmot against the Vatican, the guy has been playing along these lines for quiote sometime.

I wonder why doesnt anyone sue him for maing such far-reaching false claims like The Holy Grail being bured in the Louvre Museum and many other BS claims.

Bottom Line: Dont take the book seriously.Just a work of fiction to create a stir, thats it.

yeah I know.... and BTW, Angels and Demons is an amazing book......really cool....

Anyway we were going too much off topic....

Do you think Tom Hanks is perfect for the role of Langdon??? O would have thought that Matt Damon with specs would have been better.
