I have been encountering the database error at least 3 to 4 times a day.A refresh is fixing the issue but at times it doesnt and TE is awfully slow for me.

my tracert times out in between and ends at 345ms which is worse than yours, but havent faced any database issue. Maybe clearing your browser cache, plus dns cache could speed things up a bit.

I too get the Database error sometimes. latest being about 15minutes back. I guess the mysql database is overloaded with "too many connections".

^I got the database error too, and maybe mine was also 15 minutes back. It stayed for around 1-2 minutes

i got one just yesterday. i refreshed 3-4 times and it wouldn't go. clearing the cache helped and TE loaded.

MODS im getting Database Error again and again.I have cleared cache and have tried using other browser also but still no help.Please look into this matter.
