Why not ? Even at 6k they are still one of the most detailed cans Ive tried out .A level better than the AD700 in terms of detailing etc. One just needs to make sure if he will like aggressive sound .

SR80i are very bright HP, have great and crist Highs and clearity

AD700 on the other hand have a wide soundstage , more comfetable than the GR80i

if you will be using the HP for less then 3 hrs in one go ....get them ....they are uncomfertable for prolonged usage ...not over the ear desigh ..on the ear
