My dealer is giving me a deal on MSI K8N NEO4 PLATINUM @8K+TAX
AND AMD X2 4200+ FR 19.2k+tax
IF NE ONES INTRESTED PLZ PM ME.
AND PLZ TELL ME IF ITS NOT A GOOD DEAL.:(
 
why do you need dual gigabit LAN:P ??

I dont think it has dual Gigabit LAN. But I honestly dont think you need it :P Otherwise, it s an awesome mobo.
 
dual gigabit lan comes in handy if ur using it as homes central server but again u can always add a lan card!!. :)

u dont need to buy the dfi from any dealers .. buy it straight from www.theitdepot.com ... and even MSI doesnt have a really great warranty support ... if u looking for warranty support then nothing beats Asus in India.
 
i think warranty varies frm place to place locally.for eg. in gangtok there is inly 1 big dealer in comp hardware n he doesnt sell asus. so my options r limited
 
Hmm.. the MSI sounds nice at hat price.

Plus it comes with SB Live ! 7.1 onboard too. Feature packed, only a poor OC'er but do you want to overclock ?
 
Ohh ok. A TE member Karan had this mobo and he wasn't able to do much with it.

Try and get the Platinum version, else I'd strongly suggest getting the ASUS A8N SLi Deluxe.
 
i m talkinin about the platinum version only. fr 8k only. i know asus ll b better but dude i cant buy asus if i don get it here.
 
I have a MSI K8N Neo 4 Plat and its not a poor Ocer :no: and has onboard crrative sblive 7.1 24bit and has SLI (Will be putting 2X6600 Gts soon :ohyeah:)
 
^6 @ Hummer - Exactly man. The Neo4 Plat has the Onboard SB Live.

I'd suggest you pick this board for 8k, great price...:)

chek this out dude, neo 4 plat is not SLI , HAS RAELTEK SOUND AND @darthcoder r u sure its platinum , its diamond i m sure.
 
Man, lol ave seen the sli bridge in front of my eyes and I get a BIG "Platinum" splash across my screen each time I start my comp so unless MSI people or Karan cheated me :no: I'll have to suppose that its a Platinum :ohyeah:

After I get home I can take some Mobo Close-ups and even a shot of the "Platinum" logo splashed across my monitor :D.
