i think the mods really need to look into this thread. There have been very obvious changes in the OP's posts. My post has been deleted.
The OP had initially posted a reply to Sorcerer where in the edit comments field, he had mentioned something about a trader policy. Not to mention the fact that he had made posts where he claimed to have obtained the items from a 'wholesale dealer' and had claimed that he(dealer) would help in mediating any warranty issues that might arise.

If the mods take action against a post by some member, i think its at least courtesy on their part to let the concerned member know about what action was taken.

I had reported the above thread as it was obviously made by a dealer. Its another matter that now the thread has been edited to make it appear otherwise.

Could someone please clarify.?
 
Your posts were not deleted. Based on your report we looked into it and closed/trashed that thread (which included all posts in it including yours). Had a PM discussion with him where we sorted things out and gave him permission to start a new thread.

We do look into *all* reports and take necessary action, so members need not worry. Of course there are quite a few reports everyday so its not possible to respond to the members who reported the posts. We definitely appreciate members taking the time out to help assist with moderation activities but its certainly not necessary to take it up personally beyond reporting the post :)

the only reason why i took it up personally was cause my post disappeared without a deletion notification and the fact that thread start date+time does not appear ensured that i had no idea that this was a new thread.
