Decent 2.1 Spearker with good Sub woofer under 2k --- Please suggest

I have been using F&D 5.1 since 5 years and planning to buy 2.1 under 2k though intested in Altec Lansing
Vs2421. pls suggest the better one
 
Go for the Creative A300. Cost~1300 . Can't go wrong with it. Crystal clear sound. Great bass.
Personally find Altec Lansing's sound 'dirty'. [no offense to Altec Lovers]
