Dell 4GB Pen Drive For Rs 285/-

Made a visit to Nehru place today.

Just came across the Dell 4GB pen drive for 285/- at Cost To Cost.

Every person who i could see, had this pen drive purchased in their hand.

The appearance/built of the pen drive is great, plus the pen drive is manufactured by kingston. (5 years warranty)

Also taken some pics of complete cost to cost & computer empire price list. (09Dec)

Umm, if anyone have had bought the pen drive then please post the benchmarks of the pen drive. I mean data transfer rates. Use HD Tune Pro for getting the same.

I can purchase pen drives from there for 285, but then courier charges would also be there ..
Would be a great buy for delhi/NCR buyers...
Otherwise shipping cost would make the pen drive a bit on the expensive side.
If many people are interested, then we can start a GO

As far as my experience speaks they are good at price but people will face issue while calming warranty. So in my opinion stay away from Cost to Cost.

In NP 2-3 dealers told me that it'll be difficult to claim warranty if the product is purchased from cost to cost, what is the reason/problem with cost 2 cost as i think he's the wholesale dealer that's y his prices are low as compared to other

i purchase most of my stuff from Cost to cost, get a VAT paid bill as well ...
Never faced any issue for claiming warranty.
I recently got my Kingston pen drive RMA'ed, didnt even have to show the bill for the replacement.
Got a hand 2 hand replacement.

avoid cost to cost as much as u can.. U wont get proper warranty most of the times...

they even sold modded 8xxx series graphics cards ar 9600 gt 1 gb ddr3...

I got one from them and they wont do anything after that.

Bills from them never mention any serial no... so those are of no use I think..

Just wanted to let u know what I have experienced from them.. My one drive is still with seagate and they have rejected saying it wont have warranty valid in India.. search for them on TE itself u will find something atleast..

i mean look at the package it looks fake. Kingston does not pack their product that way ( in that type of paper ) ( i mean, dell favors white, kingston favors white ..why green :S )

to add to that the " 4 GB" looks as if 4 has been re-written over it ! ( 4 is too sharp compared to the "GB " below it )

Update : Was available at Aashirwaad for Rs 280 + 5% VAT...not in stock nw....expected next week

I guess the same pen drive is available for 285 in computer empire as well..

if anyone has problems with cost to cost, then can make a purchase from comp empire
