Laptops Dell In Croma Stores

Has anybody visited Croma malad??

I visited Belapur and Mulund recently, they didn't have any Dell products. Representatives told that only Croma malad is housing Dell products. Anyway, If anyone has visited Croma malad, please shed some light on range of products they have made available as of now... and if any Dell accesories (keyboards, soundbar speakers etc.) are also there.

I had taken my laptop to croma, juhu...a few months ago to check the actual diff bet 226wtq n 226bw. They let me do, what I wanted (of course under supervision) when where confident, I knew what I was doing.

I ran a few clips of Planet Earth in 1080p n some imax in 720p...then played some Crysis, COD 4, Bioshock...individually (as my laptop only has a single port...but a X1600 with 512MB). By the end of it, they were trying to learn, how to do what...rather than stoping me 4m doing something...also let me open the back panel of the samsung to check the panel #

Of course, I didn't buy any (Reason: TN !!!) but they were very happy n told me to come again n test more products...even if I don't intend on buying anything. Took my # n promised 2 call me as soon as they get any 24" monitor n did call me when they got the 246wtq but I wasn't interested in testing it...will defly go 2 check the dell n I'll take my bro's sony with 8600M GT, this time

LOL you needed to do so much to know that a 22" panel is TN? There's no panel other than TN in 22 inch displays .

hope they showcase all their products in stores all over..
atleast in all metropolitan cities..

can check out their monitors before buying and the rates would be lesser.

Of course I knew they were TN, and U are wrong, there are non TN panels in 22" but not in India.

I went through all the trouble cause I wanted to find the difference between those to TNs n next time, take the trouble of reading be4 quoting n tonguing :bleh:

Went last sunday to Croma Malad, but in the evening this time n the dell were there mounted high up, on a poll with uncles n aunties, kiddies n teenies, gathered all around leaving no place for a techie to sneak a peak...4get testing.

When asked for the rates, 1 rep said the 22" is abt 20K n the 24" is 30K another said they are not available but U can book now n the monitors will be shipped 4m Malaysia...should reach U in 25days n it'll cost U 25K for the 24" !!!

I was is it the 2408 or 248 n he said "yes yes that only" Clearly he had no clue but he pointed me to another rep who had a line of abt 15 ppl IFO him :O

I asked what he was up to n I was told he's taking pre orders n I'll ve to wait inline if I needed to speak to him but I didn't. Will be going there again sometime this week on an odd hr.
