Laptops Dell Inspiron 1501 AC Adapter

AC adapter of my son's 1 Year old Dell Inspiron 1501 has conked out ( purchased in the US )
Laptop is out of warranty ( 4 days over).
Original adapter had model number LA65NS 0-00 as model number written on it
basically a 19.5V- 3.34 A Adapter.
Where in Delhi /Nehru Place to pick up a good replacement ?
Any idea what the replacement Dell AC Adapter costs- or can the conked out one be repaired/fixed ?.
Any idea to purchase the so called OEM ones ? which i think are much cheaper. Urgent guidance needed please !!.
 
Y dont u call up dell and ask if they will replace it..make some excuse that u were out of station or something..Maybe they'll fall for it..
