Monitors Dell or AOC Monitor

Hello Friends,

Please suggest, which monitor from following to buy (Primarily for Text) ALL 3 have 3 years warranty:-

Dell S2216H (21.5")
AOC i2369Vm (23.6")
AOC e2450Swh (24")

Any suggestion with few good things about monitor or why you wish to suggest it will help more...

I would prefer the ah-ips 23" monitor you mentioned if it's for multimedia use. It has a mhl adapter for phone. Text based use = browsing web sites or data entry in excel, word etc?

Hi 6pack,

My primary use of Monitor for Text Reading and Typing (including Excel & Word).

I'm not in gaming or movie freak (yer but 2-3 hrs for Movie, TV Serial, Watching Documentary) but 9 hrs in Text Read/Type etc.

Please suggest your best...

Hi bssunilreddy,

Budget strictly under 10k......

Was abut to settle for Dell S2216H but two things keep me away are No DVI Port + Glossy Panel :(

Search & Read lot of but all post/review are from Gaming and Movie user only :(

The LG 23MP47HQ fits your budget. It's available for 9999 on Flipkart but should be around 500 less in shops.
It's 23" IPS display with one vga, hdmi and audio out port.
 
LG one suggested by 6pack is a good choice. If you feel your eyes are strained while reading, there is a setting in Win 8.1 (not sure about Win 10) under screen resolution. This setting scales text to little higher size like 125% or 150%. This can help you.

  2. AOC - Very Good Review & Vast User Base (i2369Vm Rs.9700/-)
  3. LG 23MP47 (very less review etc.) Rs.9500/-
  4. LG - (10 yrs before my friends ALL LG products from A/C,Fridge, Vacuum Cleaner & TV died within 1 year and all investment drain) at same time I'm using LG DVD Writer since last 5 years without any issue.

AOC is good option but I read that AOC have Some "Film" on Screen with Tag (Do Not Peel Of This Screen).. it means this screen not properly fit inside panel and hence user (unaware user) may tend to remove that screen just like we remove screen from New Mobile handset....

I asked AOC customer care about SKIN and they agree that if you peel off that screen/skin than Monitor will be Damaged & Warranty Void...

This particular Dell monitor has a very reflective screen according to some people who have used it
