Dell Inc., a leading supplier of personal computers, has improved specifications of its 30†display, which is aimed at gamers and graphics professionals. The company says that the monitor has better color gamut that the predecessor and which will improve the overall experience with the monitor.
Dell said that the new Dell UltraSharp 3007WFP-HC features 92% color gamut, which makes colors richer and more realistic. Dell said that most monitors feature color gamut covering 72% of the NTSC color space, but the new Dell 30†monitor increases the coverage to 92% of the NTSC color space utilizing a wide cold-cathode florescent lighting (W-CCFL) backlight that delivers gamers, photographers and digital media “prosumers†highly vibrant and vivid images such as deeper reds and crisper blues.
