Hi,
My desktop is on the other side of the house and I need internet access. Rather than install a wifi adapter, is there a wireless range extender that is truly wireless and I can plug into the desktop via the ethernet port.
I have two routers which I would like to use in this scenario.

- I have tried iBall wireless USD adaptor. For some reason, it conks off after every restart. The wireless LAN driver disappears. I have tried formatting and reinstalling too.
- I do not want to run a Lan wire throughout the house.
I have two routers which I would like to use in this scenario.
- iBall Baton 300M MIMO Wireless-N Router.
The cable guy provides the net. The wire is hooked upto the WAN port.
- Belkin Wireless ADSL Router previously used with MTNL. No WAN port.
Belkin doesn't have an option for (repeater, bridging etc).
Options:
- Would an extender work in this scenario.
Connect the Lan wire to the desktop and extender.
- Anyone use a Powerline. Is this the ideal solution.
Please suggest brand. Nothing expensive.
