Did anyone's airtel internet speed double?

I am happy to report that im now getting 2mbps,from stock 1mbps speed.

This is has been so for last 5 days,is this happening for everyone?

or just some mistake on the side of airtel?

You might be a victim of plans upgradation without permission.
Check your FUP status

Or it could be the temporary speed bumps which AIRTEL Users enjoy from time to time. I got 2Mbps for ~3 days last week but I get 1Mbps on my connection anyway which is actually 512kbps (according to plan)..

Usually a reboot of MODEM brings down these speed bumps..

Modem has been rebooted around 5-6 times due to various power outages

*touchwood* it should continue.

Airtel representatives did call me up to increase bandwidth with FUP of 75 gb,I answered with a resounding NO.
