Forum Feedback Disappearance of Welcome Panel?

I dunno whether this has been posted before or not. After the update in the boards i havent seen the welcome panel. What happened to it? or is it discontinued?

Hi Sourabh
Take it as discontinued for the time being. As Quad Master said, we are upgrading to TE v2 soon and our main focus is to reduce the server load as much as possible and make the forums faster for all. We regret any inconvenience. :)
 
Hmm... the funny thing that i noticed is TE upgraded to v2 the day when i got my tata broadband. The first day i got my connection TE wasnt opening mebbe you were in the process of upgrading and from them i noticed forum was faster due to the BB effect now i realize there any many things behind it :p

Anyways Good to see a quick and prompt reply ..
 
Hmm but whts this deal with the threads in the Reviews and Previews section.

There were quite a lot of threads in there before and now there are only four of them.

Are they moved or something. I guess my laptop thread wod soon be gone this way :tongue

And what abt the reps, i have noticed that my reps have decreased too ...lol
 
change the menu at the bottom of page from show threads for past one month to from the beginning
 
Hey Quad!
Did you ever check out the "Display Options" in the Forums?
Select the "From the [Beginning]" option and click show threads and you shall be fine! ;)

The reps that had been given recently have been lost due to the reinstalling of the forums.
I myself had lost nearly 800 reps, saumil had lost 1k, bottle nearly 4k of reps. There maybe many more who lost. But no one had lost as much as our admin, SuperNova. :O
 
all i can say.. stop worrying about reps... you not gonna miss them in v2 ... Ok thats a good hint ;)

So, maybe you are constructing TE v2 on the backup u must have made before re-installing the forums. That way the reps could be retained.
Or maybe u've discovered something new that can replace the rep system

But, there's no worry of reps, the worry is of v2!
C'mon, bring it on soon. ;)
 
well yeah... you know some people including myself got busy at the wrong time and found some bugs so we have this delay...
It will come ;)
