Since pingtest.net has gone live for sometime now, decided to check my connection. Was immensely disappointed with the results. Let the images speak for themselves.Tried with a lot of different servers.
and the speedtest.net result revealed the following,
Is my ISP blocking my net traffic? The speed to is varying like nothing.You could check the previous download speed in my signature below.
The softwares used were as follows,
Firefox V3.6 with AdBlock Plus
Avira Antivir V9 free
Comodo firewall free version.
Win 7 64 bit.
I am on a Tata Indicom Quick power 180 plan, with 2MBPS speed and Night unlimited activated. Lately, youtube videos too take a hell lot of time to buffer even on the lowest resolutions(360p) whereas a few months back i could easily watch a 50-60 min video without a hitch.
Would this be a software or a hardware issue?
P.S No downloads/uploads were running during the tests, not even antivirus updates.
